A pair of male dolls in a set of 15 dolls. Zuijin are officials of the Imperial Guard who were assigned to guard the nobility, and are similar to SPs or guards in today’s world. In Hina dolls, they are considered to be the guards of O’ura-sama, and they hold bows and arrows in their hands. Some say that they are modeled after the right and left ministers. The two are of different ages. The elderly man on the right, in sober costume, is the attendant of the female doll. The young zuijin on the left, dressed in flashy costumes, is of good physique and follows the male dolls.
