This event will be held for the 20th year in 2023, and has been well received every year.<br \/>\nIn celebration of the coming of the New Year, visitors can view a variety of auspicious works and masterpieces in the Honkan and Toyokan galleries, including a special feature on works based on the Chinese zodiac and the National Treasure &#8220;Byeongpu of Matsurin&#8221; by Hasegawa Tohaku (on exhibit from January 2 (Mon., holiday) to January 15 (Sun.), 2011).<br \/>\nIn addition, the museum will hold a New Year&#8217;s-only project, including an ikebana exhibit to get you in the mood for the New Year. Please come to the museum to start the new year.<\/p>\n<p>Special Feature: New Year&#8217;s Celebration at the Museum: Year of the Rabbit and the Year of the Rabbit<br \/>\nJan 2 (Mon) &#8211; Jan 29 (Sun) Heiseikan Thematic Exhibition Room<br \/>\nThe Chinese zodiac sign for 2023 is \u7678\u536f (\u7678\u536f), the year of the rabbit. Rabbits have a long relationship with humans, and have spent many years together as pets and hunting subjects.
