At night, the large paper lanterns in front of the Baoda Ebisu Shrine and the more than 1,500 lanterns in the area add color to the area, attracting many people to the unique atmosphere of the night festival.<br \/>\nThe festival is said to have continued since the middle of the Edo period and is known as one of the most popular autumnal events in Nihonbashi.
