\nThe “Mitamatsuri”, a popular summer festival in Tokyo, began in 1947 as a summer festival to comfort the souls of the war dead.
\nDuring the festival, more than 30,000 lanterns of all sizes, as well as hanging snow lanterns and bonbori (paper lanterns), are displayed on the temple grounds, turning the night into a golden color.
\nIn addition, there will be dedicated events such as “mikoshi waving”, “Aomori Nebuta”, and “Edo Gei Kappore” over the four-day period.<\/p>\n
Sendai Tanabata decorations dedicated by Miyagata Gokoku Shrine are displayed at the shrine gate, attracting many visitors for photo-taking.<\/p>\n
