Mizumoto Park is the largest park in the 23 wards of Tokyo and the only park in the city with an aquatic landscape. Here, too, 14,000 irises of about 100 varieties are planted.

The Katsushika Iris Festival has been held annually at these two venues. This year, the areas surrounding both venues will be very lively again. On Saturdays and Sundays during the festival (Sundays only at Horikiri-Shobuen), local volunteer groups will hold various events such as stage events, parades, and lighting up of lights. Also, on Saturdays and Sundays during the festival, the Shobu Meguri Bus will be running between the two venues and Shibamata Teishakuten, Kanamachi Station, and Kameari Station, so be sure to take advantage of this service.

Event SummaryOutline

Location

Horikiri-Shobuen 2-19-1 Horikiri, Katsushika-ku, Tokyo
Mizumoto Park 3-2, Mizumoto Koen, Katsushika-ku, Tokyo

Access

Horikiri-Shobuen 10 min. walk from Horikiri-Shobuen Station on the Keisei Electric Railway line.
Mizumoto Park 5 min. from “Mizumoto Koen” bus stop on the Keisei Bus (Kan 61) or North Exit Keisei Bus (Kan 62) from the South Exit of JR Kanamachi Station, 1 min. from “Hanashobuen” bus stop on the Keisei Bus (Kan 63) (available only on weekends and holidays) from the South Exit of JR Kanamachi Station

Holding period

Monday, May 29 – Sunday, June 18, 2023

Opening Hours

          8:00～18:00

Contact Us

Horikirishobuen 03-3697-5237
Mizumoto Park 03-3607-8321

entrance fee

free

closed day

Open throughout the exhibition period

Related Links

Official Site
Official Site

Holding period 2023.05.29 〜 2023.06.18 Approximately 20,000 brightly colored irises are in full bloom.
