The masterpieces collected by three generations of the Hosomi family, beginning with the Showa-era industrialist &#8220;Ryo Hosomi,&#8221; span a wide range of periods and fields, providing a comprehensive overview of Japanese art.<\/p>\n<p>In the five chapters of &#8220;Form of Prayer&#8221;, &#8220;The Heart of Sukiyori&#8221;, &#8220;A Time of Splendor&#8221;, &#8220;Yearning for Rimpa&#8221;, and &#8220;The Power of Jakuchu&#8221;, we introduce the gems of Edo paintings such as Ito Jakuchu and Rimpa, the art of the tea ceremony, Buddhist paintings, and solemn implements.<\/p>\n<p>Among them, &#8220;Rooster in snow&#8221; and &#8220;Chicken&#8221; by Jakuchu Ito, &#8220;Waka-sho fan-mask with underpainting of plum blossoms&#8221; by Koetsu Honami and underpainting by Sotatsu Tawaraya, &#8220;Willow&#8221; by Korin Ogata, and other representative works are not to be missed. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"57\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/assets\/images\/obj-illust_27.png\" title=\"\" width=\"199\"><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"js-way\"><span class=\"ja\"><span>Event Summary<\/span><\/span><span class=\"en\">Outline<\/span><\/h3>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<th>Location<\/th>\n<td>\nNihonbashi Takashimaya S.C.
