The draft became widely known when it was found in the storehouse of an old house in Itsukaichi, Akiruno City, in 1968, and its existence was revealed. Subsequently, a stone monument explaining the outline of the draft was erected near Itsukaichi Elementary School, where Chiba, the drafter of the draft, served as principal, in order to make it widely known to future generations.
