He is known for his excellent depictions of birds, which helped establish the genre of flower-and-bird paintings in nishikie.<br \/>\nThis exhibition introduces the works of Hokusai&#8217;s school, including various types of birds and birds depicted as symbols that add depth and flavor to the picture plane, and conveys their appeal.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to reading about the seasons, places, and thoughts of people expressed by birds, the exhibition also introduces an episode of &#8220;Autumn Leaves on the Tatsuta River,&#8221; in which Hokusai used real birds in his productions.
