New Spring&#8221; is the theme of this year&#8217;s festival. The theme of this year&#8217;s event, the 10th of its kind, is &#8220;usual spring, new spring,&#8221; and there will be plenty of content to enjoy the lively and gorgeous spring atmosphere typical of Nihonbashi. From 5pm to 11pm during the festival, Edo Sakura-dori, one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Nihonbashi, and important cultural properties and large buildings along Chuo-dori will be lit up in cherry blossom colors to remind us of the arrival of spring.<\/p>\n<p>On April 1 (Sat) and 2 (Sun), a free self-service Japanese tea stand, &#8220;Chanoyu Stand,&#8221; will also be held. (You can register for each event at the tea ceremony stand through the official website).<\/p>\n<p>In addition, six restaurants and businesses in Nihonbashi will collaborate in three teams to plan and sell &#8220;Tsunagifuto,&#8221; a new food souvenir of Nihonbashi. In the vicinity of Fukutoku Shrine, &#8220;Nihonbashi Sakura Yatai&#8221; will also be held on Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26, with long-established restaurants, department stores, and hotels in the Nihonbashi area opening stalls.
