The ume garden in the precincts of the shrine is planted with 300 ume trees of about 20 varieties, including Shirakaga (white ume), Tsukikage (moonlight), and Kanko-ume (red ume), and is usually at its best from mid February to early March.<\/p>\n<p>During the Ume Festival, Nodate (outdoor tea ceremony) and portable shrine procession will be held, and a product exhibition will be held selling specialties from Noto Town and Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
