The &#8220;Mitsuke&#8221; is the place where the guards guarding the castle gate stand guard. In 1636, a stone wall was built to form the Masugata (square) shape, and in 1639, the gate was completed, in the form of a &#8220;Masugatamon&#8221; gate with two gates placed at right angles to each other. After the Meiji period (1868-1912), the gate was removed and most of the stone wall was also removed, but a part of it still exists and is a valuable structure.
