This special exhibition commemorates the 150th anniversary of Hirakushi Denchu&#8217;s birth and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Kodaira City. The works of Hirakushi Denchu, a master of modern Japanese sculpture active from the Meiji to Showa periods and a recipient of the Order of Cultural Merit, will be presented in one place. The exhibition features gems from the collections of museums and art galleries throughout Japan, including &#8220;Tensei&#8221; and &#8220;Oryu Sensei&#8221; (Teacher Karasu).
