Spring Sumida Glass Market

Holding period

2023.04.15 〜 2023.04.16

Sells handmade glass products made by artisans, including Edo glass

There are many handmade glass factories in the Sumida, Koto, and Edogawa ward areas of Tokyo. The glassware made by these craftsmen are displayed and sold at the Oyokogawa River Water Park. Held twice a year in April and October, this is the only market in Japan exclusively for glassware.

There will be a charity sale where you can negotiate the price and get your favorite glassware, including Edo glass and Edo faceted glass, which are still handmade in Tokyo, inheriting traditional techniques from the Edo period. This is your chance to find bargains that you can only find here!

All proceeds from the charity sale will be donated to the Sumida-ku Council of Social Welfare.
