Wind Bell Festival (festival for wind bells, etc.)

Holding period

2022.07.16 〜 2022.07.31

More than 400 types of wind chimes from all over Japan

The Fu-ring Festival is held at Nishiarai Daishi. More than 400 different kinds and varieties of wind chimes from all over Japan are gathered in a tent set up in front of the Nishiarai Daishi Grand Main Hall. Different shapes and materials make different sounds. Enjoy the different sounds they make (photo is for reference only).
The wind chime sales corner features wind chimes made of ceramics and crafted glass. In addition to ceramic wind-bells such as Kasama-yaki wind-bells from Ibaraki Prefecture and Seto wind-bells from Aichi Prefecture, there are also crafted glass wind-bells such as Tsugaru-biidoro wind-bells from Aomori Prefecture and Notojima glass wind-bells from Ishikawa Prefecture, which are just like those at trade fairs.
During the event, local taiko drummers will also perform.
