Holding period

2023.10.19 〜 2023.10.20

Ukiyoe Exhibition and Music Festival in Nihonbashi

The festival is crowded with about 500 stalls, including about 20 stalls selling the famous betara-zuke (pickles), shichimi (seven spices), amezaiku (candy craft), and more. At night, the large paper lanterns in front of the Baoda Ebisu Shrine and the more than 1,500 lanterns in the area add color to the area, attracting many people to the unique atmosphere of the night festival.
The festival is said to have continued since the middle of the Edo period and is known as one of the most popular autumnal events in Nihonbashi. This year, popular events such as the mikoshi parade and the street Bon Odori dance, which is held on closed streets, will be revived.
