Tsukiji, the city of food, is an interesting place to visit in the fall when you have a good appetite!
In 2018, the Tsukiji market was relocated to Toyosu, but the Tsukiji Outside Market was never relocated and remains open.
The “Tsukiji Autumn Festival” is held there every year in mid-October. Seasonal foods such as seafood are sold, and special menus are available only during this event.
The “Autumn Sunny Meat Festival” will be held at a special venue where Tsukiji restaurants and famous meat stores in Chuo City will gather to enjoy a superb beer garden of meat, and the “Off-Site Home Run Sale” will feature products at bargain prices and limited edition sets that are the pride of each restaurant. In addition, in the “Fukubiki Lottery,” which can be won once for a total of 3,000 yen in receipts, lucky shoppers can win a “Off-Site Home Run Prize” worth 10,000 yen in tuna, a “Hit Prize” worth 500 yen in shopping coupons, and other prizes. Those who bring a “Toei Marugoto Ticket” will receive an original Tsukiji postcard.
