Daitokyo Shopping Street Festival

Holding period

2022.11.12 〜 2022.11.13

Shopping streets from all over Tokyo gather at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building!

The event was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office with the aim of communicating the appeal of shopping arcades and the role they play in the community, and to familiarize people with the shopping arcades. There are many booths where children and adults alike can experience the delicacies and specialties of each shopping arcade, a nostalgic fair corner with ring toss and target practice, and a “nostalgic play corner” where visitors can try stilts and begoma (a Japanese toy for the olden days). In addition to the sticker rally, where visitors can collect stickers from the booths and receive a ticket for the fair that can be used at the fair corner according to the number of stickers they have, there will also be other events that are typical of a shopping arcade.
