Touch, taste, and experience Japan’s world-class traditions!

October 20 is Long-established Business Day. It is said that Japan has the largest number of companies in the world that have been in business for more than 100 years. This is an event to let people know more about and enjoy 100-year-old companies, which are said to be more than 33,000 throughout Japan.
Inaribashi Square will host a marché where visitors can purchase products from long-established stores, while The Room COFFEE & BAR will offer manju (a Japanese sweet) in collaboration with the long-established Shioze Sohonke, sake tastings from 11 sake breweries across Japan, and a live stage performance by popular DJ Shuya Okino.
In addition, the “Long-established Business Summit,” in which the heads of Tokyo’s long-established businesses take the stage to discuss tradition and innovation, will be broadcast live (9:00-12:00). This event is an opportunity to learn about and enjoy Japanese tradition and culture anew.
