Meat Fest 2023 The Carnival TOKYO

Holding period

2023.04.28 〜 2023.05.07

One of the largest meat festivals in Japan! Branded beef showdown!

Held in Odaiba for 10 days during GW. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event, and the largest number of meat stores, 25, will gather.
A variety of meat dishes that will give you a taste of the wide range of meat dishes on the menu include meat sushi using only the rare meatball (earthenware pot Gohan Yonezo), fried chicken with soy sauce (Karaage Uminchu, Wamiya Okamu), and beef rare cutlet with salt and wasabi (Tamagawa Butcher Shop).

In the “Brand Beef Showdown,” five restaurants across Japan that sell brand beef (Saga Beef, Sendai Beef, Kobe Beef, Iwate Minami Beef, and Yamagata Beef) will offer brand beef menus, and visitors will vote to decide the most popular one. In the “Supreme Donburi Showdown,” original donburi menus from the three restaurants will compete against each other.

In addition to the regular menu, each meat restaurant also offers a backstage menu. There is also a drink store offering craft beers that go great with meat dishes, and a sweets store selling nostalgic sweets such as baby sponge cakes and strawberry candies.

There will be a “doggy area” where you can bring your dog to the event. A “Meat Fest Doggy Bus” will run from Shinjuku to Odaiba, where you and your dog can ride together.
