Sumida Glass Market

Holding period

2022.04.16 〜 2022.04.17

Sells artisan handmade glass products such as Edo glass and Edo faceted glass

There are many handmade glass factories in the Sumida, Koto, and Edogawa ward areas of Tokyo. This event is an exhibition and sale of the glassware that the craftsmen working there put their heart and soul into making at the Oyokogawa River Water Park.
There will be a charity sale where you can negotiate the price and get your favorite glassware, including Edo glass and Edo faceted glass, which are still handmade in Tokyo, inheriting traditional techniques from the Edo period. This is your chance to find bargains that you can only find here! Held twice a year, in April and October, this is the only market in Japan that only sells glassware.
