Japan’s Largest Giant Stollen to Make an Appearance! The “Christmas Market(R) 2023” giant Stollen cutting ceremony was held on the first day of the event!

The “Christmas Market(R)” at Tokyo Solamachi, which was very popular last year after a three-year absence, has this year recreated a snow town inspired by a snowy German Christmas under Tokyo’s famous Sky Tree.

In the snowy decorations that recreate a snowy Christmas market, gorgeous huts (European-style huts) with Santa and reindeer monuments imported from Germany are lined up, and you can enjoy food, hot wine, beer, and sweets while viewing the gorgeous champagne gold colored lights and special lighting, Enjoy food, hot wine, beer, sweets, and more.
Enjoy a special moment at Tokyo Solamachi, which will be filled with the Christmas mood.

Furthermore, on the first day of the event this year, a “Giant Stollen,” one of the largest in Japan at approximately 2 meters in length, will make its debut! The giant Stollen will be unveiled after the illumination lighting ceremony, and a cutting ceremony will be held with a giant knife. Please come and see the impressive giant Stollen.
The oldest Christmas market in Germany, Dresden, has a Stollen Festival, and the biggest attraction there is a giant Stollen. This time, in order to let more people in Japan enjoy the time leading up to Christmas while tasting the stollen, we have recreated this stollen in one of the largest sizes in Japan.
On the first day of the event, Santa Claus will appear and cut the stollen with a giant knife to get everyone in the Christmas spirit! The carved stollen will actually be on sale, so please take this opportunity to enjoy them.
