Enjoy the atmosphere of Edo, including Oiran-doju and Yoshiwara fox dance.

The event is held on Ichiyo-Zakura and Komatsubashi-dori, which runs east to west about 500m north of Sensoji Temple. The event started in 2003 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the founding of Edo. At the same time, 131 ichiyazakura were planted along Komatsubashi-dori, which led to the renaming of Komatsubashi-dori as “Ichiyo-Zakura, Komatsubashi-dori. The special street corner stage during the Edo Yoshiwara Oiran Road Trip will feature the “Yoshiwara no Kitsune Mai (Yoshiwara fox dance),” in which dancers wear fox masks and hold a mint or mint and bell in both hands, the “Edo Yume Mata (Edo dream pattern),” in which performers such as Taizaemon Mochizuki will showcase Edo’s performing arts, and the “Edo Yoshiwara Iki Hanamachi (Edo Yoshiwara Iki Hanamachi The “Edo Yoshiwara Iki Hanamachi No Yoburi,” a recreation of a stylish meeting between an oiran (oiran) and a customer, will be held.
