Japanese Sake Fest in Nakameguro

Holding period

2022.11.05 〜 2022.11.06

Comparison of 150 kinds of Japanese sake from all over Japan

The theme of the festival is “Sake Tasting Festival to enjoy seasonal Japanese sake, food, and Japanese culture while feeling the seasons. Japanese sake is sake made using traditional Japanese brewing methods. This year’s festival, the 20th, features approximately 170 varieties of Japanese sake, including Nanbu Bijin, Ichinokura, and Yonezuru, all of which have won awards at sake competitions and product fairs in Japan and abroad. Some of the sake available for tasting can be purchased on the spot, so be sure to bring some home as souvenirs.
Food booths will offer regional specialties and dishes from popular restaurants. On the venue stage, live performances will be given by the “Kitamura Sisters,” a unit of Tsugaru shamisen sisters on the first day, and the male-female twin-vocal unit “Oc (Oc)” on the second day. Sake and beauty/health seminars will also be held, as well as the “Japanese Sake Festival Grand Prize,” in which visitors will vote for their favorites among sake tasters to determine the grand prize.
