Japanese Swords

Founded in the Meiji era

We offer a wide selection of Samurai art such as Japanese swords and sword fittings.

We sell a wide variety of Samurai art including artistic swords, sword fittings, armor and weapons, as well as their replicas. We also provide services such as sword maintenance, polishing, exterior crafting, appraisal, and consultation for selling.

Swords, which are widely recognized overseas as artistic crafts representing Japanese traditional culture, are displayed and sold mainly from the Kamakura to Edo periods, as well as works by modern artists. We also offer original items such as brooches and cufflinks that make use of highly decorative sword fittings and can be worn as accessories.

When you visit, you may enjoy searching for an “Omamori-gatana,” a traditional protective charm sword believed to ward off misfortune and keep the owner safe.

History

It began in the Meiji era as an antique shop in Chuo Ward, Tokyo. After the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923, the shop moved to its current location on Sakurada Street in Toranomon, Minato Ward, and began specializing mainly in swords.
