Cherry blossom viewing at the birthplace of Someiyoshino! Product exhibition also held

The cherry blossom festival will be held in Komagome, Toshima-ku, which is said to be the birthplace of someiyoshino, one of the most popular varieties of cherry blossoms, with booths, product exhibitions by exchange cities, yosakoi dancing and band performances in the Someiyoshino Sakura Memorial Park just outside the north exit ticket gates of JR Komagome Station. In addition, tourist ambassadors of Someiyoshino cherry blossoms, who promote the charms of Toshima City within and outside the city, will participate in the opening ceremony to enliven the event.

Somei-Yoshino Cherry Blossom Memorial Park is planted with Edohigan cherry trees and Oshima cherry trees, which are said to be the original species of Somei-Yoshino, so you can appreciate the difference between them.
