Souvenir shop offering a variety of delicious foods nurtured by the nature of Tama

Ootama Umaimono Kan Miyabi Kobo is a store featuring delicious foods from the Ootama area operated by Miyabi, a lumber company. In addition to manufacturing and selling Tama-produced sotoba, the mainstay of its business, Miyabi is also involved in the production of wooden furniture, crafts, and processed foods. At Miyabi Kobo, visitors can purchase ginkgo cutting boards and solid wood planks produced by Miyabi. Ginkgo cutting boards are antibacterial, sterilized, soft, and easy to fill knife scratches, and after-sales service, including a resharpening service, is available.
In addition, delicious foods from the Okutama area are sold in the store, which utilizes natural materials and offers a sense of natural warmth. Food tastings are available in the store, and many people stop by on their way to Okutama for a drive. Miyabi Kobo’s signature smoked products utilize natural cherry wood chips, and you can purchase cheese, eggs, nuts, and other items that make great snacks for alcoholic beverages. The products smoked with cherry wood chips give off the scent of cherry blossoms and a deep savory flavor that is addictive and attracts many repeat customers.
