Enjoy the New Year in Fukagawa’s famous garden

New Year’s event to be held at Kiyosumi Garden, a famous garden in Fukagawa associated with Yataro Iwasaki. From the 2nd of the New Year, visitors can enjoy the Japanese garden with a New Year’s atmosphere.
Exhibits of New Year’s good luck charms such as fukujuso (lucky plants) and ume (Japanese apricot) will be on display, and volunteer guides will lead visitors on a “garden stroll” through the garden and its staff members. The Taisho Memorial Hall will be open to the public, and refreshments with a Japanese flavor, such as matcha green tea, will be available for purchase. There will also be an exhibition of photos and panels that tell the history of Kiyosumi Garden.
