CRAFT SAKE WEEK 2023 at ROPPONGI HILLS

Holding period

2023.04.21 〜 2023.04.30

100 sake breweries and 15 famous restaurants from all over Japan

This is one of the largest sake events in Japan and the first to be held in about four years. 100 carefully selected sake breweries and 15 famous restaurants that are difficult to reserve will open their doors in Roppongi. The restaurant lineup includes world-renowned starred restaurants and other popular restaurants for which reservations are normally difficult to obtain. During the event, you will be able to enjoy sake from each brewery along with original menus created by top chefs exclusively for this event.

The installation at the venue was designed by architect Tsuyoshi Tane, who has created numerous works including the new Imperial Hotel Main Building (scheduled for completion in 2036). To express the culture and craftsmanship created by Japan’s climate, approximately 3,000 “Masu” (a Japanese measuring bowl), which has been used as a vessel since ancient times, will be used to create a fertile space with a soft wooden expression and light.

In addition to sake, this year’s booth will also spotlight Japanese tea. Even those who do not drink alcohol can enjoy themselves.
