AR art and a corner to experience EDOVERSE, a metaverse space in Edo

(Headquarters: Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Namiko Okazaki), a wholly owned subsidiary of Shinwa Wise Holdings K.K. (Headquarters: Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoichiro Kurata), will hold Digital Art Week (Headquarters: Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Namiko Okazaki) will hold Digital Art Week Asia 2023 from October 25 (Wed) to 29 (Sun). Following the success of the 1st and 2nd Digital Art Weeks held last year, this year’s Digital Art Week Asia 2023 will focus on the theme of new art possibilities using games (gamification), bringing together many prominent artists from Japan and abroad, and will also feature AR art and a corner for experiencing EDOVERSE, a metaverse space in Edo, Japan. Produced and curated by Singaporean curator Warren Wee, as in the previous event. The Halloween Party will be held on Saturday, October 28, from 6:00 p.m. at Shinwa Wise Holdings KK (Headquarters 1F, B1F). Please feel free to join us.

EDOVERSE×Ibasen: (Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi) Minamoto no Yorimitsu Koukan Tsuchigumosaku Yokai Zu 3 pieces [first exhibition].
EDOVERSE is a metaverse space of Edo (the former name of Tokyo, Japan) developed by combining historical research with state-of-the-art technology such as the Unreal Game Engine. Iehiro Tokugawa, who supervises EDOVERSE (virtual space), is a direct descendant of the 19th generation of the Tokugawa family that ruled the Edo period. The Ukiyo-e to be exhibited are NFTs currently on display at the Ukiyo-e Museum (virtual space), created in collaboration with Ibasen, a long-established traditional fan maker that has been around since the Edo period. Visitors can experience a time slip back to the Edo period. NFT of this work will be available for purchase during the Digital Art Week.
