The Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival is considered one of the two largest fireworks festivals in Tokyo. The Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival is a major event that attracts approximately 1 million visitors every year, including those from the surrounding areas, who can enjoy the powerful 12,000 shots of fireworks along with live performances by famous artists. There are three venues for the event: Jingu Stadium, Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium, and Jingu Softball Stadium, all of which offer spectacular fireworks displays.
In 2022, artists such as Ken Matsudaira and Hitomi Yaida will perform live songs on the main stage of Jingu Stadium. In addition, hip-hop groups and others will perform songs at Jingu Softball Stadium.
