The Kanda Gigyosai is held every year on Kanda Izusefudo-dori Street. With the theme of “Showa, Humanity, Alleys, and Old Men,” popular events such as izakaya (Japanese-style pub) tours are a big hit. If you go, delicious sake and food await you. The main event is the “Kanda Street Party,” a street party held on a closed street under the title of “Adult Fair. In addition to the powerful yomata and clash practice, the authentic “yagura dai-daiko” will be performed by Mr. Kotoji, a former yagura dai-dai drummer of the Japan Sumo Association!
