Sayama Seisakusho

Founded in 1911 (Meiji 44)

Furniture crafted by top-class artisans to last a lifetime

A furniture specialty store in Shimbashi, the birthplace of Western furniture, with over 100 years of experience. Mainly custom furniture and repairs, also offering on-site repairs, store and home interior work, and cleaning.

At the factory in Tochigi Prefecture, each woodworking and upholstery department has a first-class skilled worker. Every piece of furniture is made with care based on years of knowledge and experience. All cleaning and on-site repair services are handled by in-house staff, offering top-quality service at reasonable prices. As a result, many orders come from four- and five-star hotels, embassies, public institutions, and the Imperial Household Agency.

Products range from Sayama Manufacturing’s original chairs and bench cushions to new creations like hotel reception counters, as well as sofa seat replacements and chair repairs. Some work includes restoring and reupholstering dining chairs used for decades, connecting not only the furniture but also the customer’s sentiment.

For furniture repairs or custom orders, please contact us by phone or via our website.

History

In 1911 (Meiji 44), the company opened in the Shiba area of Shimbashi, Tokyo, known as the birthplace of Western furniture. At that time, the area was famous for artisans and had many furniture stores, but over time, they disappeared, leaving only Sayama Manufacturing. The company continues the skills and will from its founding to future generations.
