Unosuke Miyamoto Shoten] May 27th! Registration for the workshop by Katsuji Kondo, taiko drummer, is now open!

The popular workshop by Katsuji Kondo, a taiko drummer and instructor who was involved in the founding of the professional taiko drumming group “Kodo,” will be held on May 27. Applications are now being accepted (subject to eligibility requirements).

There are two types of workshops: the “Katsugi Oke & Fuse Taiko Ensemble Class” teaches the basics of katsugi oke taiko and fuse taiko (shimedaiko, okeshimedaiko, nagato taiko) and wadaiko ensemble, while the “Odaiko Class” teaches the basics and how to play odaiko to phrases in a fun way.
