The title of the exhibition, “Yumeji Style Beauties,” refers to a style of painting of beautiful women that was popular and favored by Takehisa Yumeji, characterized by large eyes, fair faces, curvy and slender bodies, and melancholy expressions. This event will introduce the origins of Yumeji’s style of beauty, and focus on the unique way of expression that captured the hearts of many, in order to explore the ideals of Takehisa Yumeji, who continued to pursue the beauty of women.
