Noh and Kyogen performances at Shinjuku Gyoen at night

In Shinjuku Gyoen at night, which is usually off-limits to visitors, you can watch performances by Kyogen performer Mansai Nomura and Tetsunojo Kanze, who represent the world of modern Noh and Kyogen, respectively. The programs are “Tsuri-Hari” for Kyogen and “Oeyama Kaeno-Kata” for Noh. Visitors can immerse themselves in the ethereal world of the bonfire in the rich natural surroundings. In case of rain, the event will be held in the main hall of the Shinjuku Bunka Center.
